Tuki AI is not intended for children under 8. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Tuki AI only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms for you. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep your sign-in details confidential.
Tuki AI is a study app. You add your own class material, such as photos of notes, PDFs, Word and PowerPoint files, and Tuki AI uses artificial intelligence to turn it into study plans with chapters, summaries, flashcards and quizzes. It also offers an AI teacher that answers questions about a plan, explanations of words you double-tap, and reading chapters aloud. Tuki AI is currently free to use and contains no in-app purchases.
The AI features work by sending your material to our AI provider, Groq, through our server, as described in the Privacy Policy. They are available only after you allow this in the app; if you choose "Not now", you can still use everything already saved, and the app asks again when you use an AI feature. Study plans are built on our server, so a plan keeps being made if you leave the app.
The AI features rely on a free daily allowance from our AI provider. When that allowance is used up, a study plan may pause or not be built until it is available again; the app says so when this happens.
An account is required to use Tuki AI. You can sign up with an email address and password, or with Google or Apple. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in your Profile.
You agree not to: upload material you do not have the right to use; upload unlawful, harmful or abusive content, or personal information about other people that you do not have the right to share; use Tuki AI to harass anyone; send automated or excessive requests, or try to get around rate limits or security measures; attempt to access other users' data; or interfere with, disrupt or reverse-engineer Tuki AI's servers.
You keep ownership of the material you add and the study plans made from it. Your photos are backed up privately to your account and other files are not kept once read; the text read from them and the plans made from it are saved to your account. You give us permission to store, process and transmit that content only as needed to provide Tuki AI, including sending it to our service providers as described in the Privacy Policy, once you have allowed it. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use the material you add.
Study plans, summaries, flashcards, quizzes, AI teacher answers and word explanations are generated by artificial intelligence from your material. Tuki AI checks this content against your material, but it can still contain mistakes or leave things out. Always check important information against your course materials and your teachers. Tuki AI is a study aid and does not provide professional advice.
The Tuki AI app, its design, name and logo belong to us and are protected by law. These Terms do not give you any rights to them other than to use the app as intended.
If you downloaded Tuki AI from Apple's App Store, your licence to use the app is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you downloaded it from Google Play, Google Play's terms also apply. Apple and Google are not responsible for Tuki AI or its content.
Tuki AI is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that Tuki AI, or the AI provider it relies on, will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that generated content will be accurate or complete.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or results, arising from your use of Tuki AI. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
You can stop using Tuki AI and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or that put the service or other users at risk.
We may update these Terms. Changes will be shown by an updated date at the top of this page. If you keep using Tuki AI after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
